The mission of the Canadian Sephardi Federation is to preserve and strengthen the cultural identity of Sephardi Jews in Canada by supporting education and creating shared experiences with other Sephardim in the world.
The first Jews to immigrate to Canada were Sephardim. They arrived from Britain in 1759 and settled in Quebec. Notable among them were Aaron Hart, Hananiel Garcia and Isaac Miramer.
